PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION
The HIV/AIDS
Management program offers health education and training on Human
Immunodeficiency Virus/Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (HIV/AIDS).
Participants will gain insight into cultural and community norms, as well as
the scientific aspects related to the transmission, prevention, and management
of these conditions. Armed with this understanding, health workers can develop
educational resources that are both scientifically precise and culturally
sensitive.
Upon
finishing the program, you will have acquired knowledge on:
- Â Recognizing the
symptoms and risk factors of HIV/AIDS.
- Understanding the modes of transmission of these diseases
and the main preventive measures to prevent infection
- Appreciating the significance of enhancing and supporting
immunity in individuals with HIV/AIDS
- Conducting informed and impactful health promotion
presentations.
